When it comes to Conquest and Pestilence, I think Conquest fits better for me, and that Conquest and War are still different despite the similarities they have. Conquest is like tyranny, while War is just violence.

Actually, it's Conquest that's out of place. The four horsemen are Death, Famine, Pestilence, and War. Conquest doesn't even make sense. It's basically a combination of War and Death.

According to Wikipedia, Conquest is the most common interpretation, but there are alternative ones.

I just realized something: War (=Unchecked Aggression) + Famine (=Ceaseless Hunger) + Pestilence (=Contagious Disease/Viral Transmission) + Death (=Being Dead)

=

...Zombie Apocalypse!

And if we go with the classic Horsemen line-up: Conquest is the fact that zombies have covered the planet, thus conquering it.

Yo, where is Heavy Metal's "The Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse" series? It may not have been released yet but it should still be known!
