- The Nords, the Yule Tribe, and the Ragnarok from the Facebook game Dawn of the Dragons are probably examples of this trope, but as I've not gotten to that point in the game I don't feel qualified to add it. Yes, they have horned helmets.

Just at what point do we cut the Normans from qualifying this trope? With Rollo, I figure just keep them under this trope for when a work of fiction features him but do we go all the way to William the Conqueror by sheer virtue of the fact that he was still alive when the Viking Age ended?
