I'm getting a 404 page for that link.

^ Yeah I tried to link it a couple of times, but it doesn't seem to work. It's still a thread on the TRS forum right now.

I know this is old, but there should be a working link here to the renaming thread. It’s here.

First, that picture is a lousy joke (bordering on transphobic, even with the trap joke caption changed), and it doesn't really represent the trope. Seems to me like it should be Red Hot Riding Hood, Minerva Mink, or Jessica Rabbit.

Second, this is an incredibly subjective trope as it currently stands. I'd say it needs fixing by being classified as an in-universe trope, primarily about a sight gag where a clear majority of characters look at a woman in slack-jawed amazement when she just walks by. "Person that is found super hot by someone" isn't a trope ...

There's nothing subjective about this trope. "Character is so attractive that they physically react" is fairly objective.

But that's not what the trope description actually says.

"This woman is sex on legs, and everything about her screams Schwiiinnng!. She may or may not know it, but when she walks past, others take leave of their senses and devolve into a steaming mass of drool, totally consumed by lust."

There's nothing about that that specifically mandates a physical reaction. I agree with you that this is the *intention* of the trope, but the description is vague, metaphorical, and trying way too hard. This is a fairly rare trope and almost always a comedic one, but the examples don't reflect it.

Many, MANY subsequent examples (like Power Girl and Harley Quinn under Comic Books) meet the subjective "sex on legs" "causes others to take leave of their senses" descriptions but rarely if ever cause an actual physical reaction.

Apparently someone added Cho Chang from Harry Potter. Does she really count? Only Harry and Cedric are shown to find her attractive and the whole point of this trope is that allot of people, if not everyone, find her attractive.

Hmm Harry and Cedric are the only ones who actually date her but she is described as very popular. Usually popular girls tend to be very good looking. She does have a brief relationship with Michael Corner as well and she marries a Muggle in the future. But I'd argue that the effect she has on Harry qualifies her for this trope. For the better part of a year he goes all weak at the knees at the very sight of her. Sounds like a Hello Nurse to me.

No, the distinction in this trope is that practically every sexually compatible person who sees the woman has a physical reaction. Fleur Delacour fits, but Cho (while described as 'pretty') isn't making all the male students feel short of breath.
