I have a pair of characters who somewhat fit this trope, but play with it a bit. One is a redhead, and she is the more eccentric, hyper, socially detached and less morally upright of the two. The other is a brunette, and she's the more rational, maternal, bookish, calmer and nicer of the two. This trope? Play-on, maybe?
