I'd like to propose a name change to "Machine Man."

Added Alliterate Appeal on par with Wrench Wench aside, it offers a far clearer picture of what this trope about than Grease Monkey does.

Grease Monkey could be turned into a supertrope to fit both.

Maybe, but there can still be value to re-arrainging deck chairs.

In order to get a name change through, the new name doesn't just have to be better, there has to be something noticeably wrong with the old one. Well, Grease Monkey is gender neutral. Having it as a male-only trope is confusing, as only long time tropers would know it instinctively. Compare to Wrench Wench is a lot easier to write up ad most importantly easier to understand.

This is applying the same sort of clarity and Added Allterate Appeal Wrench Wench has to this trope. Or Machine Man as it might be.

Again, I'm happy to discuss it and see if anybody else agrees or disagrees.
