Is Dan White (under real life) really an example of this trope? Neither the myth of sugar imbalance nor White's actual depression have anything to do with another personality influencing him or taking control of his actions. He was a very damaged individual, to be sure, but this trope is about a very specific type of mental illness that, to my knowledge, White did not suffer from.
