Does Michael Corleone from The Godfather have shades of this? Many Godfather fans, myself included, argue that the majority of Michael's problems as a Mafia boss come from the fact that he, a decorated Marine, handles his business more like a soldier than a mob boss. While very effective due to his intelligence, he becomes needlessly brutal due to this mindset.
Would a wasteland merc hardened by trials surviving the post World War III environment, ending up becoming an Isekai Protag whom (initially) isn't in this for the people but Only in It for the Money count?
