Lol, I'm planning to subvert this trope where a dog takes of his coat (fur) and gives it to a shivering frog, or some other animal, and he makes his own fur grow back. What's the trope for inducing rapid hair growth called? Like what Dennis did with his mustache in The Sponge Bob Square Pants Movie

Just thought I'd ask, since I've always wondered—-is this trope "canon" to the works it applies to? I know, it's just a cartoony idea, but for it to work, basically it would mean any character who emplos this trope would be the same as the cast of "Almost Naked Animals"—-just wearing a fur coat. And that's just creepy.
That, and the fact that some characters who employ this trope will sometimes go swimming in his/her fur coat (although there have been exceptions, Ren & Stimpy being the big one).
Should the "pockets" internal subtrope be moved to Body Pocket? And if not, what's the difference?
