I have a character who becomes this trope while staying in Canada, with her American tendencies played up more than usual. Since the setting (and I) are both in the U.S., would it be a play on this trope, especially considering the Canadian characters act far less silly than she?
Can this overlap with Amusing Alien if said alien is also based on an Earth culture? Like, especially if they have the stereotypical aspects associated with it.
