Wondering whether to list the example from A Game of Thrones where Sansa, in a heated argument, says that Prince Joffrey "is nothing like the King", which is what twigs Ned's realisation that Joffrey is a bastard and conceived by incest. On the one hand, it's not explicitly inappropriate like most of the examples, and more a case of Sansa being right by pure chance rather than knowing too much, but on the other, Ned does name-drop the saying.

Removed these examples from Literature:

  • In Good Omens by Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett, 11-year-old Adam Young, AKA The Antichrist, convinces the forces of Heaven and Hell to abandon the whole business of Armageddon by pointing out that it'd just start all over again and ruin the fun they're all having.
  • The entirety of To Kill A Mockingbird is told from Scout's point-of-view.

Neither of them fit the spirit of the trope. If someone wants to rewrite them so that they do (with specific examples) feel free to do so.
