Perfect, ain't it?

It is shameful for a demon to be working, but one needs gold even in Hell these days.

What is it supposed to do? I see a tank's cannon sticking into it. Is it a silencer or something?

That is correct. It is the prototype of a silencer for tanks and howitzers. I don't think it ever left experimental stage or was ever really supposed to be used in the field, though. It us used on the shooting range of the Wehrtechnische Dienststelle für Waffen und Munition in Meppen, Germany.

Actually it's not really a prototype per se, it's a device designed to allow an artillery firing range to comply with EU noise regulations.

Yes, really.

Is it an example if it's not strictly sexual - just a kiss - but the character name-drops Freud in response to it?

I made this Idolized Julius Kingsley icon back when Akito first came out, and now that the crossover is actually happening, I don't care.

Schalldämpfer is written uppercase in German (cause it's a noun).

Shouldn't this be a YMMV article? It pretty much doesn't get any more subjective than this.

Yeah really! You could make a similar point for just about anything. If you're a gamer nerd, you could find a lot of things that somehow relate to gaming. This sounds like "What Do You Mean, It's Not Symbolic? - With Penis!"

This just gives the term "Fan Wank" a whole new meaning!

Somehow, I just think the contributors to this page simply have far too big an imagination. That's right, I said big. Make of that what you will.

More contributors have too little imagination; a lot of these examples are too explicit to be symbolic, too literal to be phallic. What's Freudian about a dick? It's the opposite of "a cigar is just a cigar"; a penis isn't a cigar.

Subjectively, there's a fine line between a Troll and someone who lives just to piss you off.

Just because something is long and pointy doesn't make it an instant phallic symbol. That's like saying any sort of hole/oroface is symbolic of a hoo-hah!

this article needs serious clean up. sometimes a cigar is just a cigar people.

But most of society DO view it as a big brown dick.

And the point is that this is about perceived implications. Whether or not the imagery is intentional is secondary.

Perhaps you have a really creepy...and big imagination. The next response will Freudify what I just said.
