How is that possible when TRS is 100+ threads over the cap and the threads are closing at a snail's pace?

Is there a comparable Trope for such beings as ghosts and vampires, who aren't strictly alive but do breathe, blush/turn pale, and eat (e.g. Virgil in Dantes Inferno, Casper The Friendly Ghost?
