Maybe because it is the image for The Ludovico Technique, if you think that there needs to a better image you might want to start a thread in the Image Pickin' forum
Edited by jormis29 Working on cleaning up List of Shows That Need SummaryCan someone specialized in comics please tell me where does this come from? http://www.comicvine.com/images/1300-266622/ (it was on comicsvine on Cheetah gallery but with no mention of the title). If there is a story behind this (it's a cover perhaps?), well obviously the Justice League is forced to watch something horrible, and it would be a triumphant example. But if it is just an artwork, forget the question. I think it is one anyway, due to it is impossible to tie up people such as Superman or Wonder Woman without the help of kryptonit or her lasso. (But maybe I'm wrong)
We have two tropes that generally cover the same thing: making someone watch as something horrible happens to something or someone they care about. I move to lump the two, perhaps throwing all the examples in either Make You Watch or Forced to Watch into the other, and making the other trope name a redirect to that page.

The three finest things in life are to splat your enemies, drive them from their turf, and hear their lamentations as their rank falls!
How on Earth is the page image for this trope anything other than Alex pinned to his seat with his eyes painfully propped open in A Clockwork Orange? Not some sort of burning totem pole thing as it is now...
