Am I correct in taking it that this refers to a character inclined to snarky internal monologue, as per those of Garrett from the Thief games (listed, I believe, amongst the examples)?
Similarly, and, I daresay, not unrelatedly, could someone familiar with the character please expand upon the Philip Marlowe comparison?
As it stands, the description reads to me as describing a particularly erudite character; the title, however, suggests that the intention may be of a character given to sharing first-person snarks with the reader...
