Probably not. The page summary makes it sound like first episode means first episode and not a third one. That sounds more like a Wham Episode in my opinion.
Consensus on TRS was to rename this to First-Episode Twist.

Patiently awaiting the release of Paper Luigi and the Marvelous Compass.Hey so I'm going to add the image of Stan Pines opening the vending machine as an image. It fits the definition. Source of the image: It's from the end of the first episode of Gravity Falls
Edited by CaptainRexofthe501st Hide / Show RepliesI'd like to remove the Umineko No Naku Koro Ni "spoiler" - the fact that Beatrice exists is a revelation, but the actual question is not her existence, but her identity. Also, it happens *after* the first episode (of eight), so it's not exactly really early.
Removed the reference to Eddard Stark and Robert Baratheon's deaths from the Song of Ice and Fire entry. It happens 800 pages into the first book. It belongs in You Should Know This Already.
Does Mami Tomoe's death at the end of episode three in Madoka Magica count as this? I mean, it's the turning point that marks the series as a Dark Magical Girl anime and a Magical Girl Deconstruction.
