I think you might not be clear on what "Ur-Example" means. It's about the very first example of the trope, occassionally before even the Trope Maker. For The Lancer, I think that the first Star Wars movie came before Final Fantasy IV, so something from that couldn't be the Ur-Example. You might be looking for the Most Triumphant Example.
That said, it sounds like it might well make a good image; if you can get a screenshot that's clear (since ones of action scenes sometimes don't work) and doesn't require someone to know who the characters are, bring it!

I think the perfect picture for this trope would be Cecil vs Kain in Final Fantasy 4. If Kain's not the Ur Example of the Lancer, I'm not sure who is.
