- Durarara!! deconstructs this with the Dollars. Originally, it was made with no specific purpose by its creator. When many joined in, various members chose to take the name for granted went as far as committing crimes under their name. That and the fact member of the Dollars were "invisible" caused some paranoia, uproar within local gangs, and forced the only creator left to shut down the website. Fortunately, this is reconstructed as there are good people within the Dollars. Also, since the Dollars were "invisible" to begin with, there was no point in trying to shut it down and is therefore reopened.
Aside from the blatant misuse of "deconstructs" here, but do the Dollars count? They're essentially a chatroom, not a social network. In fact, given the entire point of the anonymity of the group they're kind of the opposite of a social network. Genuinely asking, honestly. I'm not sure if "a chatroom" or "a forum" counts as a social network.

"One may thank/curse Mark Zuckerburg, one of the important head creators of Facebook, nicknamed The Social Network, but that is clearly not the case. There several other instances before then (My Space for example), though not as advanced."
Pulled this. At first, I was just going to de-italicize The Social Network since it's referring to the nickname, not the movie, but the more I read the paragraph the less I thought it was necessary. Why do we need to bring Zuckerburg into this at all? It's just full of odd choices, really.
