Seem to be from a game called 12 scrolls. If I'm interpreting this correctly it's made alchemically with moon dust and quicksilver; the moon dust being made of moon shards and volcanic ash. So, yeah, I think you remembered correctly.

I seem to recall a magical metal called "Lunargent", allegedly created through alchemy, but I can't remember where it was mentioned. Anyone else know about it, or am I just misremembering something?
