Yep, this article serves as a daily dose of obnoxious sexism stewed with geek elitism. >_> This whole article needs a major rewrite, I think.

I agree. The laconic says that a fangirl is just a female fan of something, but the article describes them in a very negative way.

Agreed. The negative stereotypes should be mentioned, if they are held, but they should not be presented as fact, the way they basically are.
