So what's the difference between this and Anything That Moves?
Hide / Show RepliesAnything That Moves now seems to be really low standards (but confined to humans), while Extreme Omnisexual goes outside of those boundaries (aliens, inanimate objects, etc.).
Frankly, looking at the examples on each page, I think trope decay is setting in and they're trending toward each other - which I think is proper...to the extent that the nominal difference between them is a real difference, I think Extreme Omnisexual is overly broad, and Anything That Moves is overly narrow. I don't think wanting to bang Marta is different from wanting to bang Batgirl, even if you also want to bang Spock and The Great Paris, too. But wanting to do the Horta or is, and wanting to bang Lassie is something different still.
This page is indexed under "No Real Life Examples, Please" yet still has real life examples. Would it be better to take out the examples or remove it from the index?
Hide / Show RepliesCan't speak for other pansexuals, but I'm with Jack Harkness on this one— sentience is really my only requirement.
Hate to sound creepy but how come rabbits don't count? They were listed under the animals in the Real Life section of Anything That Moves before the split, and let me tell you, bucks ARE this trope.
Anything That Moves was merged with this trope per TRS:
