Listed the aforementioned example on the Example as a Thesis page and cited its outdatedness as a comment.
Ketchum's corollary to Clarke's Third Law: Any sufficiently advanced tactic is indistinguishable from blind luck.
I'm not sure about the Azrael and Ghost Rider entries; there's surely a difference between a character being "exiled from continuity", which suggests their use in some books is forbidden for some reason, and simply not being used. Especially if, as in Jean-Paul's case, that character is dead.
Likewise, was anyone actually barred from using Wally West and Donna Troy (I know they were with Steph and Cass), or was it just that nobody had a New 52 story to tell about them until they did? I can think of a bunch of characters who haven't appeared in the New 52 (yet), but I don't think they're all exiled from continuity.
