Could we maybe change the name to Villainous Gloating? Evil Gloating is rather narrow, as the villain might not be puppy-kickingly evil, but still gloating about having achieved victory through being a Combat Pragmatist.

It seems like a lot of examples are of Just Between You and Me, which the index misinterprets. In fact, I typically see "monologueing" used to describe that trope specifically; how much objection would there be to changing the redirect?
Also, the Lord of the Rings example does NOT work well in script form.

Should we add a section for subversions? Villains seem to be getting rather Genre Savvy lately.
I don't get how the image is supposed to link to the trope: it seems like the bad guy's making fun of Zatanna's ringtone, but there's no obvious link to not killing her immediately or her using that to make an escape.
