Time for a different page image? Not sure who the (anime) dude is, and the text underneath doesn't even tell you! there's no shortage of Evil Brits to use instead. Simon Cowell, King Charles...

Ace Attorney Fanon sometimes gives Edgeworth an RP accent (though apparently there's some controversy attached to this opinion?), would this count as an entry?

Since he's neither Evil nor a Brit... no?

Now, if a fanfic made him evil and simultaneously gave him said accent, that would count. But in the main series, certainly not.

The current description contains the following line:

"This includes all evil characters with British accents (where the rest of the cast has accents)..."

WTH does that mean? Shouldn't that say "where the rest of the cast have non-English/other accents"? Or is it trying to say that the trope applies when everyone in the cast is English, because that doesn't make much sense.

It has to be said that I struggle to think of a work where there is only one character who has an accent and the rest of the cast don't. That would kind of require everyone else to be mute.

So... this shouldn't apply for works that are set in England where, you know, everyone has a British accent, right?

One would think. Although I wonder if this sometimes applies to RP-speaking characters in British works. 'Cause most people in Britain don't speak received pronunciation, and I can imagine that the one character who does might come off as evil compared to his compatriots with more working-class/regional accents. Anyone know if that ever happens?

Just to clarify, this is mainly just the posh Received Pronunciation and rough Cockney accents, right?

Is it me, or is Snidely Whiplash from Dudley Do-Right is not listed yet? Or Dick Dastardly from Wacky Races for that matter?

Tannhaeuser: The guy in the page pic is Jason Isaacs. I chose that particular picture because 1) I always think of Alan Rickman as Colonel Brandon, 2) Jason Isaacs always plays an Evil Brit, whereas Rickman gained fame as an Evil German, 3) Isaacs is actually wearing a British uniform in that pic, since he is playing Colonel William Tavington (an ungodly Strawman Flanderization of the real British Colonel Banastre Tarleton), who actually roasts women and little children alive in The Patriot. Still, Rickman and Cushing, Cristopher Lee, whoever, are all cool, so if you want to change the pic, feel free.
