This trope is not common worldwide, it is actually fairly rare. Most people think blonde women are ugly, as well as "blue eyed women are ugly". Why are you trying to make this trope seem common? Maybe you should change the title, because Most People Don't Love Blondes.
Wasn't this:
"It's a reccesive trait that comes from Scandinavia and even there most people aren't blonde.note It would be extremely unusual for someone who doesn't have at least one Scandianavian paternal ancester and one Scandianavian maternal ancester to be blonde."
debunked a while ago? Firstly, the first occurance of the gene was most likely not in Scandinavia (I would search for the source), and, secondly, you can find some naturally blonde woman even in northern Italy, let alone the baltic states, Poland, Germany or the UK.
Edited by JohnnyX Hide / Show RepliesBlonde hair is extremely rare in Italy. It's like finding a natural blonde in Japan or Somalia.
Shouldn't this be Everyone Loves The Blonde? "Everyone Loves Blondes" sounds like a trope about a common attraction towards all blonde female characters, rather than just "the one blonde among us".
