Since the EMH incarnation of Black Widow seems better known for the mystery over whether she's a true double agent or a Reverse Mole than for being Ms. Fanservice, I don't think the scene listed in the article counts as her Establishing Character Moment. Does it?

- Peter Lorre's absolutely terrifying first appearance in M. He ends up surprisingly sympathetic.
I don't know what this is referring to. As I recall, Lorre's character is first seen making faces at himself in a mirror long before we know that he's the killer. We see his hands writing a letter to the police later. His character kind of fades into the film, so I don't know what first "appearance" this is talking about, or what made it an establishing moment.
Help me build the Metal Gear entry. The bosses in this game live for this trope, and they usually die for it, too. I'm just not sure how to phrase it. The naive player puts some of them on a neat little trope shelf until he learns later on that they had some bizarre justification for their behavior, or were really not that bad all along. That's why I said it's sometimes subverted: you think you've just seen their establishing moment, but it turns out to really come later on.
Where can we propose videos for this trope?
