Do fictional examples count? As the game "Twenty Years of Dignity" from the Family Guy episode "Petarded" is described, "You don't win. You just do a little better each time."

Deleted.

Fixed the definition of Hard Mode Filler on this page, instead. (It threw me off — Donkey Kong fits the definition of Hard Mode Filler provided here, despite being the original Trope Namer, but does NOT fit the definition on the actual Hard Mode Filler page.)

Also, sorry, this is nothing like the Kobiyashi Maru. The Kobiyashi Maru doesn't keep repeating or go on forever — it just flat out crushes you like a bug no matter what you do unless you cheat.

I disagree. The point of the Kobiyashi Maru is not how it beats you, just the fact that it's unwinnable. I thought that Kobiyashi Mario is one of the best trope titles I've heard in a long time... Bring it back!
