A few months later, but: IMHO, the original page quote was better than the current one. The current one is just a generic Badass Boast that requires context to really understand. The original was this:

"Superior training and superior weaponry have, when taken together, a geometric effect on overall military strength. Well-trained, well-equipped troops can stand up to many more times their lesser brethren than linear arithmetic would seem to indicate."

Calling out Mach Rider 1985:

Is it factually incorrect? Then explain or correct. You've been running around dewicking otherwise valid The Open Door entries for no obvious reason. Just because you see them as the second coming of Hitler is no reason to Unperson an otherwise correct entry. This trope (and a lot of TV Tropes for that matter) isn't about moral judgement - if the shoe fits then the entry should stay.

I can't find any dewicking. Are there other pages where this happened?

Sorry for taking so long to get back on this. I'll have to dig, because I think I've seen it all over the place, but there's one such case at Bigger Stick. He purged that example on 27th Jan 2015 and I just put it back.

They have now been banned for an unrelated issue.
