Um, I'm sorry, but, compared to the age of the universe, the earth really is a rather young planet, why is this in No Real Life Examples Please?
This shall be my true, Start of Darkness Hide / Show RepliesBecause that is not what the trope is about, basically. It's on the order of hundreds to ten thousand years in this trope, not billions. Plus, technically the age of the universe is not the appropriate reference for this trope - the trope's more akin to a The Law of Conservation of Detail issue where the age of the Earth is shortened to just the important bits.

I actually do not recall the Left Behind films ever addressing Evolution or Creationism or the Age of the Earth.
