Typology vs Typography. There's that word again. I do not think it means what you think it means. See http://wikidiff.com/typography/typology .

A lot of people on TV Tropes seem to have trouble with the grammar involved with using ellipses...

This should be renamed to Total Ellipsis of the Heart. Trope namer being Dana who blogs reasoningwithvampires.tumblr.com.

There's no reason to rename it and that name is less broad and clear. You can set up a redirect from that if you like.

That was the amazing part. Things just keep going.

None of the "ellipses" on the page are actually ellipses. They're just three periods (...), when they should be actually ellipses (…). This is almost unnoticeable, but nonetheless bothers me.

This might be due to the fact that there actually isn't a key to type ellipses. To do a proper ellipsis, a person would have to probably cut and paste from a word processor, and not a lot of people have the patience for that.

Even if one were to go through and replace every set of three periods with a proper ellipsis character, one would have to then watch the page for every time a new thing was added since others would be unlikely to follow this. There's also the fact that, since edits are done in a monospace font, "..." is wider than "…".

I've submitted a new custom title request for the title to become "Dramatic… Ellipsis" rather than the current "Dramatic...Ellipsis".

That was the amazing part. Things just keep going.
