I once considered the South Park episode "Raisins" to have one, but I later realized that it is closer to bittersweet, so I changed my mind. Can somebody remove it for me, please?

Most people spoil Ending tropes on a Works page. Like so:
- Depressing Trope: People die
The problem is that no matter what the show is, Downer Ending always starts with D. If you see a spoilered out trope around that point on enough pages, you'll figure out that that's what's being hidden.

You mention a lot of Steven King novels, but not the Dark Tower. Finding out Roland had to redo the whole thing over again, and has probably been redoing it over and over for eons was kind of a downer!
Removed:

Impossible on the face of it, because Final Fantasy 12 occurs *before* Final Fantasy Tactics in the timeline.

Not true. Lily was carried of in a helicopter, and nothing implies the helicopter was destroyed.
The ending in SMG 4's episode called Mario's preschool was actually a good ending.
