"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanI once considered the South Park episode "Raisins" to have one, but I later realized that it is closer to bittersweet, so I changed my mind. Can somebody remove it for me, please?
Is there anyway to stop troper DownerEnding on the Index of the show, IT SPOILS THE SHOW ITSELF!!!!
Hide / Show RepliesMost people spoil Ending tropes on a Works page. Like so:
- Depressing Trope: People die
The problem is that no matter what the show is, Downer Ending always starts with D. If you see a spoilered out trope around that point on enough pages, you'll figure out that that's what's being hidden.
I wonder why that evil guy who ruins everything in the BAND mode ending Gutair Hero WT is smart...F**K HIM....Can i get his phone number?
"The Horn of Protection is here for you, Timmy!" - Hank the Super Cheese Loving Rhino Guard from Fairly Odd Parents Hide / Show RepliesWhy is this subjective?
I'm feeling strangely happy now, contented and serene. Oh don't you see, finally I'll be, somewhere that's green... Hide / Show RepliesSo you're suggesting we split it into sub-pages. That's not a bad idea.
The Crystal Caverns A bird's gotta sing.Ask a mod first though. Bring it to Trope Repair Shop on the Forums. I think thats the protocol for splits.
The Crystal Caverns A bird's gotta sing.Is that the reason why edits only show up on the history and not the actual page?
I cut up one dozen new men and you will die somewhat, again and again. You mention a lot of Steven King novels, but not the Dark Tower. Finding out Roland had to redo the whole thing over again, and has probably been redoing it over and over for eons was kind of a downer!

"****The entire party did not in fact die in the last battle, we know that Mustadio survived and went on to have children because Cid from Final Fantasy 12 is a descendant of him."
Impossible on the face of it, because Final Fantasy 12 occurs *before* Final Fantasy Tactics in the timeline.
RE: "Cloverfield, anyone? Every character dies except one, and her death is implied"
Not true. Lily was carried of in a helicopter, and nothing implies the helicopter was destroyed.
The ending in SMG 4's episode called Mario's preschool was actually a good ending.
I jumped the shark.
