I understand the lack of a NSFW trope image, but surely we could use one without nudity. Just plugging "dominatrix" into Google image search with Safe Search on produces plenty of suitable pics.

Also, why should we not list examples? So long as we stick to characters who actually fit the trope description.

There isn't really one because of All Women Are Doms All Men Are Subs - it's incredibly rare to see male dominants outside of fetish literature because of the faulty abuser implications, and even they they're never sexualised in the same way that female dominants are.

It likely has something to do with the fact that patriarchal societies depict men as being the dominant sex anyway.
