Does anyone else think that the picture should be changed? James Bond doesn't really seem to fit the trope - he's a typical Action Hero who sometimes gets tied up. When thinking of a male Distressed Damsel, the first thing that comes to my mind is Xander Harris from Buffy. He's pretty much the perfect example of the trope.

I think we should change the pic of the page for one of this comic here:http://darkreflections.exiern.com/index.php?strip_id=43
and then link it.
What you guys think?
> Compared to the Damsel in Distress, the Distressed Dude is somewhat more likely to save himself in the end, to be saved by someone of the same sex, or, if saved by a woman, to be saved by one using her traditional, feminine strengths, rather than by someone using a more direct approach.
Violence is not "a more direct approach". Violence is not an obvious answer to which other answers are inferior. That's such a silly idea. It's toxic to think that violent people are better than non-violent ones. To think that violent women are more feminist than non-violent ones isn't feminist, it's anti-human. Violence is anti-human.
I made this Idolized Julius Kingsley icon back when Akito first came out, and now that the crossover is actually happening, I don't care.
