Could someone elaborate on the difference between Tranquil Fury and Dissonant Serenity? The page says "they look the same on paper but are very different in practice." I've read both pages and I still don't get it.
Serene and stoic are fairly similar. I don't think "not stoic" should be a part of a description of someone exhibiting Dissonant Serenity.
Will I be informed if people reply to my discussion post?Page quotes are, ideally, short. This one is long and doesn't particularly encapsulate the trope. The situation is vague/generalized and is occurring in a character's mind where they can be anything they want to, whereas the trope is about concrete situations that the viewer would expect to cause horror/anger contrasted with a the Dissonant Serenity.
