The reason to forbide real life examples is bad, because the trope also covers situations where neutral or heroic characters fall to their deaths.
A Pixar example produced before Disney acquired Pixar (Toy Story 2) is in the Disney section. So given Lucasfilm's new ownership, should the Star Wars examples be moved from Film to Disney?
Hide / Show RepliesI don't think so... Star Wars is a franchise. Disney and Lucas Arts are creators. Star Wars examples should be on Star Wars and Star Wars should be in the description of Disney and LucasArts. Preferably, there should be an explanation of the change of rights and ownership on Star Wars.

What if there were no hypothetical questions? There are 10 kinds of people: those who understand Binary and those who don't.Is it likely that Charles Muntz from Up may have survived his fall and drowned instead?
Why Disney Villain Death? Why not just "Falling To Their Death"? It's self-explanatory.
Shouldn't this trope actually be discredited already? Not only Disney have done it to death, so many times, it has been done to overkill by the others.
Obviously, the audience got bored of villains falling and falling again, to an extent of apocalypse.
Renaming: I'm curious if there might be a better title for this article. I suggest one derived from a competing cartoon studio, namely "Bad guy fall down, go BOOM!"
Can someone please explain to me what the hell is going on in the last paragraph of The Force Unleashed example? Not Self Explanatory.

Where would this video fit? It's a parody of KH 358 Days and the ending has sun with this trope.
