Does anyone else think this trope needs some time in the Repair Shop? I see an awful lot of misuses that amount to "character does morally ambiguous things", but fail to include the need for remorse. Is it the trope name that creates this confusion?

Maybe. Make an entry on your To Do list and put it in the repair shops once they are open again. Remember to make evidence of a problem.
