I really strain to believe that Friendship is Magic is deconstructing any character archetypes. Will review and revise as necessary.

I have some issue with the Steven Universe entry:

  • Many of the "flaws" the titular character has are not portrayed as problems in the narrative. It seems to be rewriting the flaws of the show's writing as a positive.
  • The parts discussing the Inferiority Superiority Complex and Well-Intentioned Extremist tropes seem to suggest they are playing the tropes straight.
