Am I the only one who wants this trope to be renamed "Here Comes the Sun"? I like tropes named after stuff in media.

If anyone wants to go to the trouble of writing an actual example, feel free.
Would it count if the sun itself is the good news rather than a symbolic omen, say, after decades surviving the Impact/Volcanic/Nuclear Winter, the cloud of dust, ash and debris clears up enough to catch a glimpse of the sun, and the story was in itself about a long Hold the Line mission of lasting longer than the winter?
