Uh... i believe there's been a miscomunication or something in the Mitsubishi Pajero (*giggles*). "pajero" in Argentina does means "wanker" in the same level of british rudeness, and it has the same meaning in most of South America (but not in Central America), and most definately not in Spain. as for the mountain range its named after, i don't know where it is located, but it's not in Argentina

Why are Advertising and Commercials two separate folders? They're both ads.

Two guys walk into a bar, the third guy ducked.

I nominated Cross Cultural Kerfuffle to YMMV in the 'Pages that need the YMMV banner' thread in Long Time Projects in the forums. Their first paragraph is the following:

"A Cross-Cultural Kerfluffle is sort of meeting between a "Funny Aneurysm" Moment and Values Dissonance. It's different from Values Dissonance in that it isn't a case of different cultural values which makes for the potential wince, but rather when an accidental reference to something negative and well known in one country or culture is made unknowingly by a program from another."

Both Values Dissonance and "Funny Aneurysm" Moment are Audience Reactions and this not sounds less of an Audience Reaction than either.

The next-to-last entry on the page is:

  • Already in 1995 the German state outlaws the , a rightwing extremist party. "Sexy Losers" (and thus the Internet use of "") starts only 1999. Aaaaw, there go so many puns...

It looks like the offending phrase in question has been edited out. Does anyone know what it's supposed to say?
