Whats up with the Armor Piercing Question link on the page quote? Sonny seems to fail to be grapsing the point. The point being made was that humanity in general can do these things and robots cant, not the relative creative levels of the two characers.

I think the point Sonny was trying to make is that it's not fair to use that test to measure sentience when beings who are clearly sentient still couldn't pass it. Not every human can paint a beautiful picture or conduct an orchestra, but does that mean they're not sentient? Or even not creative in other ways? Of course not.

That said, I see no reason to include said question. It just obfuscates the quote's significance to the trope.

Why is the description talking about Science Is Bad and writer-induced morality? Creative Sterility is a simple concept, and can apply to both a single person or an entire culture.

Why are the Space Pirates from Metroid Prime listed as an example? If anything, they were all about innovation. They have tons of scientists dedicated to learning about new stuff at any cost. Remember their research on phazon and its mutative effects? All done in a few months, no stealing there.
