Starting today, the trope name Creating Life is simply for Creating Life, as a value neutral supertrope. As per TRS consensus, and with the blessing of Earnest - the guy who started the more specific trope that just got renamed into Creating Life Is Bad.
One thing I've always wondered about: What religion exactly states that creating life is somehow an affront to the divine? Cuz it sure isn't anywhere in the Bible. I feel like Mary Shelley just screwed things over for future generations of writers and scientists by having Victor Frankenstein randomly say how his creation of the monster was trespassing in God's domain, then proceeds to monumentally screw up.
