Could've sworn that I've commented in the past that the trope isn't Cop Killer so much as "Cops get pissed off that one of their own was killed and pursue the killer relentlessly."

I did not, but honestly that seems like so much more of a trope than this. "Cop Hunter" and "Cop Killer Manhunt" are tropes but I do agree, "killed someone who happened to be a cop" isn't a trope.

I feel like this page deserves a new name - I'm just not sure what. Killing The Cop Killer, maybe?
You see, the page deals with what people do to cop killers, but the name implies that anybody who commited the crime of killing a cop deserves to be in here.
"Character gets murdered who happens to be a cop" is not a trope. Maybe we should rename this to "Serial Cop Killer" and limit the examples to characters who have killed at least 2 cops?
