I can see why there isn't a Real Life section and I'm not rushing to add one, but in a roundabout way I discovered Lincoln, state capital of Nebraska, has the tallest State Capitol building in the USA and that this is disparagingly known by cynical Cornhuskers as "Lincoln's Penis" or "The Penis of the Plains". Popular speculation has it that this is Nebraska overcompensating for being one of the least important, sparsest-populated and more insignificant states of the USA. (and I know. That's flame-bait in itself, even though native Nebraskans are usually first to say this!)

There are too many examples in here that are more like Wild Mass Guessing than anything else. Just look at the example image of Al Burj. It looks more like an old radio antenna than anything else. But nobody's saying the guy was compensating for the bad reception he got from his radio/tv/soundblaster, do they?

I don't get the part of the article that mentions the Distaff Counterpart. I never knew women had to compensate like taht. Does it count if a certain female character typically stands with her back arched and chest out? Probably not...
