Does anybody other than me think that the name of this trope is just...weird? What does 'Cold Turkeys are Everywhere' have to do with 'You don't know what you've got until it's gone?'

Even with the explanation, it only barely vaguely makes sense.

I seem to recall an Archie Comic in which Archie and Reggie try to restrain Jughead from eating hamburgers, and it ends up falling under this trope. My memory could be deceiving me, however, so I'd like someone to confirm this.
