To further disprove the idea that Children Are Innocent, I first listened to Tom Lehrer when I was about 8. While it was never stated in-song, I immediately assumed that I Got It From Agnes was about some sort of STD. Yes, I said 8.

Add a title. Stay safe; stay well. Live beyond… memento vivere! Should intermittent vengeance arm again his red right hand to plague us?Ah. You too. I'm guessing it's the one kid looking at you. Through you. JUDGING YOU.
Maybe it's just too small to really tell, but there's something about the eyes that looks...unnatural.
Does anyone know the title/artist for the page image? I'd like to see a larger version, if one exists.
I agree with OP, but only because of how it looks like the child looking at us has her face akin to a badly made mosaic.
Done.

Don't know if we're actually encouraged to add series that avert the trope. I'm thinking of the manga Hunter x Hunter, where protagonist Gon is the ONLY child in the series who hasn't murdered anyone yet.
I don't get the trope, TBH. If children being innocent was a misconception about real life, then I could see this being trope. But as written, it's just "thing that's true of children in real life is also true of children in fiction".
