"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanThis should really be split into Lucky/Unlucky Childhood Friend. They're literally the opposite of each other.
Hide / Show RepliesI agree. It's its own distinct trope, so there's no reason not to give it its own page.
SorrySo what happened here? It looks like both the Lucky and Unlucky examples have been lumped together, so the description of most examples describing either one doesn't make much sense anymore.
Hide / Show RepliesYes Lucky and Unlucky are polar opposites, so it's near impossible to have any idea which one the description refers to.
Uh...someone has to change this again because they made it worse when they combined everything instead of just making a victorious or not.
Is there any reason why there's two separate folders for video games?
"If there's a hole, it's a man's job to thrust into it!" — Ryoma Nagare, New Getter RoboCome on! Surely you Lumpers were smart enough NOT to go and heap two contrasting tropes together, look at the mess you've made!
Hide / Show RepliesYep. Define: Bad Idea. Worst change on TV Tropes since Rape the Dog got shot. (Anyone got some archives? this needs a reversion.)
NEXTs, BETA, You... Project IgnitionWould Cloud Strife and Tifa Lockhart be better in Ambiguous/Open-ended? I mean, I tried to put Official Couple on the character sheet, but it was removed and replaced with Will They or Won't They?.
Please help out our The History Of Video Games page.Did the Unlucky and Lucky childhood friends get put though?
