This page seems to confuse Character Filibuster with Author Filibuster, character filibusters is supposed to shed some light on a character's opinion (good writing, if the author repressents several different viewpoints in a realistic manner without using strawmen). Whereas an Author Filibuster is a character acting as a mouthpiece of the authors opinion (bad writing)
