Wouldn't Team America count as a parody of this concept?

I know that adding RL examples is not a good thing to do with these types of tropes, but here's one: http://oathkeepers.org/oath/

Basically, guys in the US armed forces who agree, beyond the usual oaths they swear to protect the country, that they will uphold the spirit of the American Revolution. Preferably with the rest of the United States leadership, but if not, completely willing to turn against it for the sake of the entire ideal of freedom and democracy.

This is a blatant example, but I completely understand how adding it to the page might cause the inappropriate addition of other, less fitting examples. On the other hand, it shouldn't exactly go unmentioned because it's just too awesome.
