- Played straight with most of the games in the Street Fighter series (especially the original and Street Fighter II), in which a character's design would often reflect their nationality.
- Wait... what? So... all Brazilians wear jean shorts, all people from Thailand are kickboxers or generals, all brits women wear one piece bathing suits, and all Russians are huge and scar covered? I think you may have not read the backstories of the characters, their wardrobe choices tend to be explained in the manual.
In the nature of avoiding natter in the main thread, commenting on this here: Zangief is a huge, Husky Ruskie. Dhalsim in particular is a mishmash of stereotypes (Yoga fire = curry and so on, explained in more detail in the SF page). I think it qualifies.

In the Marvel Comics section: Defensor is listed as being Brazillian, but in the comics he's actually from Argentina.
