This doesn't seem to be a trope tied to gender, might it be wise to edit the pronouns in the opening to be neutral instead of masculine?

Anyone who flies to the Savage Land, according to Spider-Man.

Is this really an example? It's not that these people always crash, it's that going to the Savage Land makes you more likely to crash. (And given the nature of the Savage Land, there could even be a genuine reason for this.)
