Arguably toyed with for The Flash story "The Return of Barry Allen" where the previous Flash comes back to life... and then has a nervous breakdown, declaring himself to be the only Flash and attempts to take out his former city. Ultimately, it's revealed to be a villain currently believing himself to be Barry, which current Flash Wally West exposes.

Examples are not arguable. I don't remember enough about this arc to know whether it's an example or not. Could someone more familiar please see if it is an example and rewrite it accordingly?

Split as per the Crowner. It was a 24 to 1 vote to split, so it was split.
